GalenosBio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) acts as the Data Controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of the personal data entrusted to us by sponsors, collaborators, investigators, and website visitors.

2. Personal Data We Process

Depending on your interaction with us, we may process identity and contact details (name, organization, email, telephone), professional information relevant to a potential collaboration, correspondence you send us, and technical data such as IP address and cookies collected when you use this website. We only collect data that is relevant and proportionate to the purpose for which it is processed.

Where necessary and subject to appropriate technical and administrative safeguards, personal data may be shared with regulatory authorities, ethics committees, auditors, service providers, and business partners engaged in the conduct of our activities, in a manner connected and proportionate to the purposes above and in accordance with the KVKK.

6. Retention & Destruction

Personal data is retained only for as long as required by the purpose of processing and applicable statutory retention periods. Once these cease to apply, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with Article 7 of the KVKK.

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about processing; to learn the purpose of processing; to know the third parties to whom data is transferred; to request correction, deletion, or destruction; to object to results arising solely from automated analysis; and to seek compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
